Watch Your Step: The Medicare IRMAA Cliffs That Trip Up Retirees
August 20, 2026It is hard to put into words the gratitude we feel for the impact Debbie Taylor has had on Bragg Financial, not only on our business, but on each of us personally. After 21 years of dedicated service, Debbie has begun a planned transition toward retirement. As part of this transition, she is stepping down from her role as Director of Client Experience while continuing to support the Client Experience Team and the broader Bragg Financial team in the months ahead.
When Debbie joined Bragg Financial in 2005, she brought more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. Her passion for creating meaningful experiences and building strong relationships proved to be a perfect fit for the firm. Over the years, Debbie has played a key role in shaping the client experience and culture of service that define our firm today.
During her tenure, Debbie has worn many hats, including serving clients, supporting colleagues, mentoring team members, and helping the firm navigate significant growth and change. Her steady presence, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence have earned the trust of clients and colleagues alike.
“Debbie has had a tremendous influence on Bragg Financial,” says Benton Bragg. “From the day she joined the firm, she helped elevate our longstanding commitment to exceptional client service. Debbie always seems to know the right thing to do: how to treat people, how to respond, and how to handle situations with care. We often speak about the importance of relationships, and few people embody that value more fully than Debbie. We are grateful for all she has contributed to Bragg Financial over the past 21 years and excited for her as she begins this next chapter.”
While Debbie’s day-to-day responsibilities will gradually decrease, her knowledge and experience will continue to benefit the firm during this transition.
As she looks ahead, Debbie has no shortage of plans to fill her calendar. For so many years, she has helped take care of ours, coordinating schedules, anticipating needs, and keeping us organized. Now, she is looking forward to focusing a little more on her own. That includes spending more time outdoors, walking her dog, Gracie, and exploring the world by bicycle with her husband, Mark.
We are deeply grateful for Debbie’s 21 years of dedication, friendship and commitment to Bragg Financial. Please join us in celebrating her remarkable career and thanking her for the many ways she has enriched our firm, our clients and our team.
