Bragg Financial Advisors is pleased to announce that Brian Bonewitz, CFA, has joined the team as a portfolio manager and member of the investment committee.
Brian is a portfolio manager for Bragg Financial Advisors and is an active member of the Investment Committee. Before joining the Bragg team, he spent ten years with TIAA. During his seven years in their Wealth Management Division, Brian developed tax-efficient investment and income strategies for clients in pursuit of their legacy goals.
In 2007, Brian graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BS in Business. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is an active member in the CFA societies of North and South Carolina.
Originally from Connecticut, Brian decided to make his home in the Carolinas after a family vacation to South Carolina. He moved to Charlotte after graduating from USC, and he and his wife Carrie are renovating a bungalow in the historic Wilmore district. They have a labradoodle named Willy who keeps them very active. They’re also avid college football fans and enjoy long weekend trips to the Carolina coast and mountains.
Brian is passionate about helping recent college graduates find their paths and enjoys serving as a mentor, helping them prepare for interviews and connecting them with potential employers.
