Senior Analyst – FPA Queens Road Funds
Ben serves as a Senior Analyst for the FPA Queens Road Small Cap Value Fund.
Before joining Bragg Financial, Ben spent ten years working for International Value Advisors. He was the senior analyst covering industrials and aero/defense and also has experience covering financials, real estate and TMT. Before joining IVA, Ben worked for RG Niederhoffer Capital Management, a managed futures fund, as a trader and quantitative researcher.
Ben is married to Ann Chung Mellman and they have two daughters. They met at Columbia University as undergraduates but didn’t start dating until their five year reunion. Ben grew up in New Jersey, has spent his adult life in New York City and is excited to discover Charlotte.
Ben is a former teacher and still enjoys tutoring and working with young people. He and his wife Ann are strong supporters of Restore NYC, a nonprofit organization that provides services and aid to survivors of sex trafficking.
