Assistant Office Manager

The Assistant Office Manager serves as in-office receptionist and scheduler for a wealth management firm with over 800 client families. This individual offers a warm and professional welcome to clients when they enter the office and when they contact the firm by phone. This role connects clients and prospects with the appropriate team member and assists the smooth operation of a fast-paced and friendly financial advisory office. This role is responsible for managing the scheduling of all internal and external meetings, on- and off-site.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients upon arrival and extend hospitality to clients
  • Answer incoming calls and direct accordingly
  • Manage scheduling system for team of advisors and associates
  • Review and respond to emails in a timely manner

Client Advisor

Client Advisor

The Client Advisor serves a crucial role on the wealth management team at Bragg Financial. Partnering with a team consisting of Client Service Associates, Financial Planning Analysts, and Portfolio Managers, the Client Advisor works directly with clients and other team members to deliver excellent advice and service to clients of the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary manager of a specific number of client relationships.
  • Build and maintain superior client relationships by anticipating financial needs through proactive and planned client contact and leading client meetings.
  • Take a leadership role in attracting and onboarding new clients. Proactively expand existing client relationships.
  • Provide comprehensive financial planning advice to clients. Help clients define their financial goals and objectives by analyzing their current financial resources and financial position and identifying appropriate solutions to help clients attain their objectives.
  • Read, understand, and summarize wills and trusts. Simplify the documents when explaining them to clients.
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans using tools such as Excel and planning software.
  • Partner with client’s other professionals including CPAs, Estate Planning Attorneys, and other third parties to meet client needs.
  • Provide support as a subject-matter expert for a specific specialty or service.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to less-experienced staff.
  • Research and write articles for firm publication.
  • Embrace processes and systems in use at Bragg and participate in firm efforts to continuously improve the way we serve clients.
  • Collaborate with teammates including Client Service Associates, Financial Planning Analysts, and Portfolio Managers to ensure clients are served at the highest level.
  • Build and enjoy deep relationships with your clients and with your co-workers.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • CFP®, CPA, or JD preferred
  • Core competency in at least one functional discipline, as well as an ability to provide cross-disciplinary advice and develop integrated solutions for clients of moderate-to-high complexity
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in wealth management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Preferred proficiency in Right Capital financial planning software

Client Service Associate

Client Service Associate

The Client Service Associate serves a crucial role on the wealth management team at Bragg Financial. Partnering with a team consisting of Client Advisors and Portfolio Managers, the Client Service Associate works directly with clients and other team members to deliver excellent service to clients of the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with clients via telephone, email and in-person in a professional manner to ensure requests are met in a timely fashion.
  • Preparing Client Advisors for meetings and following up with clients after meetings.
  • Onboarding new clients – preparing new account paperwork, gathering client information and signatures (physical signature and/or electronic signature through DocuSign), working with our Custodians (Pershing and Schwab) to set up the account and manage the transfer of assets.
  • Serving existing clients – maintaining existing client relationships through the processing of client requests (RMDs, federal fund wires, ACH, check distributions, journals, charitable giving, cost basis administration, etc.).
  • Working with CPAs, Estate Planning Attorneys, and other third parties to meet client needs.
  • Maintaining client data in CRM program.
  • Adhering to firm processes and procedures and actively looking for opportunities to implement improvements.
  • Gaining knowledge of financial custodian processes, specifically Schwab Institutional and Pershing LLC.
  • Collaborating with other teams such as Client Advisors, Portfolio Managers, and Portfolio Reporting to ensure client needs and objectives are accurately being met.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Experience in client service and brokerage preferred but others will be considered
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) as there will be significant client contact
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, great attention to detail, high empathy, sense of urgency

  • Structure and rebalance client portfolios to their written investment policy statement.
  • Serve on the Investment Committee.
  • Analyze prospective client portfolios with recommendations for improvement.
  • Respond to clients and team members regarding portfolio composition and performance.
  • Research and monitor securities for inclusion in client portfolios.
  • Maintain extensive and current knowledge of financial markets and instruments.
  • Serve as portfolio manager of a specific number of client relationships.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to less-experienced staff.

Service Team Associate

Service Team Associate

The Service Team Associate is responsible for providing support to the Front Office and Client Service Associate teams. This individual will process transactions and perform account maintenance while balancing the needs of both the customer and the firm. This role is a great opportunity for people who are passionate about contributing to a team, have a strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing client relationships through the processing of client requests as provided by a Client Service Associate (check deposits, 529 plan administration, charitable giving, scanning, hard-copy mailing, forms completion, etc.).
  • Provide routine communication to clients, including disclosure documents, address changes, tax documents.
  • Assist clients with online access, eDelivery enrollment, and other access issues.
  • Maintain client data in CRM program.
  • Help process the quarterly performance reports, upload to client portals, and ensure accuracy of the hard-copy reports.
  • Assist the Front Office Team with daily office opening and closing procedures.
  • Provide back-up to the receptionist as needed.
  • Maintain the daily office agenda, assist with client events, and be available for courier needs.
  • Adhere to firm processes and procedures and actively look for opportunities to implement improvements.
  • Gain knowledge of financial custodian processes, specifically Schwab Institutional and Pershing LLC.

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years experience working in an operational or central processing team environment
  • Post-secondary education
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience or knowledge in the financial industry a plus
  • Ability to work well as a member of a team
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, great attention to detail, high empathy, sense of urgency
