Founder,
Chairman Emeritus
Frank grew up in Oxford, North Carolina, and graduated from Wake Forest University in 1961. Frank began his career in financial services with Security Life and Trust Company in Winston-Salem. In 1963, he moved his family to Charlotte and formed his own firm specializing in employee benefit plans. He was a pioneer in the use of diversified portfolios of mutual funds in self-directed 403(b) retirement plans used by non-profit corporations and later in the 401(k) market.
Over time the firm evolved into a more comprehensive benefits and investment organization, including financial planning for individuals. In the course of his career, Frank has advised countless individuals, corporations and foundations in the areas of financial and estate planning and investment management. Today clients benefit tremendously from his vision, long-term perspective and real-life experience. As the dedicated team at Bragg Financial Advisors works to help clients make wise decisions, they are fortunate to have the long experience of Frank Bragg as a solid foundation on which to base their advice.
Frank is married to Kathy Broach Bragg and has four children and 15 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time outdoors on his farm near Davidson.
